Juana

About this hotel

General information

In the 1930s the small seaside village of Juan-les-Pins became a fashionable resort for Americans, millionaires and artists. Juana opened in 1931 in a pine grove at the edge of Cap d’Antibes, an Art Deco landmark that soon drew the likes of the Aga Khan, the Duke of Windsor, Winston Churchill, Marc Chagall and Francis Picabia. In 2001 it was reborn as a boutique hotel, keeping its original façade, heavy mahogany doors, antique mirrors and a Stigler lift.

Since the 1950s Juan-les-Pins has been a jazz town, and every July the hotel hosts musicians and guests of the Antibes Juan-les-Pins jazz festival, with live music in the bar. The rest of the year is quieter: a heated pool, a gym, a hammam and massage room, a garden terrace with a fountain and palms, and a beach with water sports nearby. Three meeting rooms for up to 150 guests and a concierge complete the offer.
