Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée

About this hotel

General information

A white Art Deco palace with a commanding façade, the hotel rises from the middle of the Promenade des Anglais in the heart of Nice. Designed by architects Charles and Marcel Dalmas, it opened in 1929, soon drew celebrities from around the world, and remains one of the city’s landmarks.

Rooms and suites are fitted with up-to-date technology, and balconies look out over the Côte d’Azur. The gastronomic restaurant is known for its French cooking and its terrace above the Baie des Anges, the bar has live music, and both the indoor and outdoor pools face the sea. The legendary casino keeps a nostalgic 1930s mood. For events there are seven meeting rooms for up to 1,040 guests, a business centre and dedicated programmes for newlyweds.

The hotel stands at the centre of the Promenade des Anglais, a few steps from the Old Town, the Opera and the main sights of Nice. The railway station is 1 km away and Nice International Airport 6 km.

Spa

The wellness centre has indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, a hammam, a gym and a beauty salon offering a wide choice of massages and treatments with Annick Goutal products.

The outdoor pool is surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers. The historic casino has two gaming rooms, and the hotel also runs entertainment, live music and excursions.
