General information
Le Normandy is a showpiece of Anglo-Norman architecture in the centre of Deauville, close to the Channel and the historic casino. Pointed turrets, pale green half-timbering, delicate balconies and shutters give it a storybook look, and its Norman courtyard garden of apple trees and wisteria is lit in the evening by the Casino Barrière de Deauville.
The interiors recreate the opulence of the Belle Époque in the rooms, restaurant, bar, lounges and meeting spaces. French tradition meets modern comfort here: a pool, a wellness centre, a kids’ club and a children’s restaurant, 17 meeting and banqueting rooms for 10–120 people, weddings, parking, car hire, a concierge, laundry and dry cleaning.
Location
The hotel is in the centre of Deauville, three minutes by car from Trouville-Deauville station and 15 minutes from Deauville Saint-Gatien international airport; Paris is 200 km away.
Spa
The wellness centre has a hammam, a sauna, a gym and a stretching studio, with massages, beauty treatments and personal training. A large thalassotherapy centre with several areas is close by.
Sports & leisure
The hotel has a pool with a sliding roof and free bicycles. Water sports are available on the beach, a tennis club is next door, and a riding centre, motor-sport circuits and an airfield are nearby. Golf Barrière de Deauville, with two courses totalling 27 holes, is a few minutes’ drive away, and the famous casino is just steps from the hotel.
For children
Diwi Club & Co welcomes children aged 4–12, the Babiwi club looks after under-threes, and Diwi’s Hunt is a restaurant just for children. Babysitting is available on request.
Restaurants & bars
La Belle Époque has painted ceilings, plasterwork, crystal chandeliers, mahogany chairs in wine-red velvet and tall windows onto the courtyard garden; the cooking is French and Norman, built on seasonal produce and fresh seafood, with a rich wine list. The Normandy Bar keeps 120 whiskies and serves aperitifs, cocktails and afternoon tea, with live piano in the evening. Younger guests have their own restaurant, Diwi’s Hunt.

The Channel beach is a short walk from the hotel.
