About this hotel
General information
Hermitage Barrière stands on France’s Atlantic coast in the resort town of La Baule-Escoublac. It is a large beach hotel of 200 rooms whose architecture and interiors keep to an elegant simplicity, with rooms inspired by the sea — sand, beige and blue tones, good materials and understated furniture.
The main draws are the sandy beach right by the hotel and two heated pools, one indoors and one out. They are joined by a spa, a fitness centre, three places to eat and drink, and a business centre that also arranges events at some of the town’s best-known venues. Tennis courts, a golf club and the casino are close by, and the wider region rewards exploration with historic, cultural and natural sights.
