Four Seasons George V Paris

About this hotel

General information

Built in 1928 on Avenue George V, a few steps from the Champs-Élysées, the Four Seasons George V seems to exist slightly outside time. Halls with classical statues, marble columns and fireplaces, 17th-century tapestries, crystal chandeliers, antique furniture and clocks recall a Paris long gone — without ever tipping into a museum.

The spirit of earlier eras sits comfortably alongside modern comfort. The 244 rooms draw on the Louis XVI and Belle Époque styles, the spa is modelled on the 18th century, and Le Cinq holds three Michelin stars. Ten event rooms — from the Salon Anglais, styled on the Versailles library, to the 465 m² Salon Vendôme ballroom — are complemented by a business centre with secretarial and translation services, limousine hire, laundry and dedicated programmes for newlyweds.

Location

The hotel is on Avenue George V, close to the Champs-Élysées, 25 km from Charles de Gaulle International Airport and 15 km from Orly.

Spa

The wellness centre is styled on the 18th century, its centrepiece a painted wall depicting the Palace of Versailles. It has an indoor pool, saunas, vibration baths, steam rooms, a gym with personal trainers, yoga and a wide menu of face and body treatments. A beauty salon offers hair and nail care.

Sports & leisure

The hotel runs group running tours of Paris, floristry masterclasses with artistic director Jeff Leatham and cocktail classes with the head bartender. Trips can be arranged to Versailles, along the Seine or to a children’s amusement park. The renowned Albatros golf course, host to eight French Opens, is 40 minutes away.

For children

Children have a pool, a welcome gift, their own robes and toiletries, children’s menus in the restaurants, a children’s hairdresser, games and films; babysitting is available on request. The Jardin d’Acclimatation amusement park is 15 minutes away.

Restaurants & bars

Le Cinq is the culinary centre of the hotel.

  • Le Cinq — three Michelin stars; chef Christian Le Squer combines classical French technique with new ideas, while restaurant director and award-winning sommelier Eric Beaumard leads wine tastings
  • La Galerie — cocktails and live music
  • Bar — a wood-panelled room suited to a lively group or a private conversation

In-room dining is also available.
