Grand Palace Brno is a five-star hotel set in a 19th-century building on Šilingrovo náměstí, at the heart of Brno’s old town. Behind the historic façade lies a light-filled central atrium beneath a glass roof; it holds the Lobby Bar and sets the tone for interiors that pair period architecture with calm, contemporary design.
There are 119 rooms and suites over five floors, some looking across the old town to the cathedral spires and a few with balconies facing Špilberk Castle. The hotel is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Facilities include a restaurant, a bar, a spa area with saunas and Thai massage, a 24-hour gym, five conference rooms for up to 160 guests and valet parking.
Location
The hotel stands on Šilingrovo náměstí in Brno’s historic centre: the Cathedral of St Peter and St Paul is about 190 m away, the Old Town Hall 400 m and Špilberk Castle roughly an eight-minute walk. A tram stop sits on the square itself. Brno–Tuřany Airport lies about 10 km away; airport transfers, as well as pick-ups from the railway and bus stations, are arranged on request.
Spa
The underground spa area is open to guests around the clock, with a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, a steam bath and a relaxation room. The TAWAN salon offers Thai massage – traditional, oil-based and special treatments, including herbal compress therapy – and massages can also be booked in the room.
Sports & leisure
The gym on level −1 is open 24 hours and free for guests, with a treadmill, exercise bikes, a rowing machine and a weight bench. The cathedral, the Old Town Hall and Špilberk Castle are all within a few minutes’ walk, making old Brno easy to explore on foot.

Restaurants & bars
Dining centres on two spaces. Atrium Restaurant serves modern Czech and Central European cooking from a seasonal menu built on local produce, open for lunch and dinner daily. The Lobby Bar beneath the glass-roofed atrium runs from morning until midnight, with a lunch menu, good coffee, homemade desserts and a broad list of wines and cocktails. Breakfast is a buffet, and room service is available 24 hours.
Pets
Dogs and cats are welcome for a nightly charge per pet, and may be left unattended in the room.

The 119 rooms and suites range from classic Deluxe and Executive rooms to attic rooms on the fifth floor and spacious suites with a living room. Interiors are modern and elegant, with some rooms keeping the period character of the building.
