General information
Kura Botanica Hotel Curaçao is a small adults-only boutique hotel in Otrobanda, the historic quarter of Willemstad listed by UNESCO as World Heritage. Its 46 rooms are spread across eight blocks of restored 18th- and 19th-century houses, linked by cobbled lanes, courtyards and the coloured façades of the old town.
The heart of the place is a botanical garden that winds through the courtyards — shaded paths, tropical planting and quiet corners to sit. At its centre lies a compact pool with a bar, with the Well. spa close by. No two rooms are alike: antique pieces, bold colour schemes and, in some, a freestanding bath or a timber staircase up to a second level. The mood is private and unhurried, while the artisan shops and cafés of the old town begin just beyond the gate.
Location
The hotel sits in a pedestrian quarter of Otrobanda, in central Willemstad. The Queen Emma pontoon bridge and the shopping streets of Punda are a few minutes' walk away, and the nearest beaches 10–15 minutes by car. Curaçao International Airport is 12 km off, a 15–20-minute drive; the hotel arranges private transfers. Parking is free.
Spa
Well. spa takes its cue from Ayurvedic thinking and its focus on balance, shaping each treatment either to energise or to calm. The menu covers massages and body and facial treatments, and there is a plunge pool.
Sports & leisure
Days here move between the pool, the garden and the spa, and the city is best explored on foot: from the gate it is an easy stroll to Otrobanda's artisan shops, cafés and street murals, and across the bridge to colourful Punda. The concierge books excursions and restaurant tables, helps with car hire and shares local recommendations. For anniversaries and birthdays the team can dress the room with champagne, decorations and other personal touches.
Restaurants & bars
There is no restaurant of the hotel's own: rates come either room-only or with breakfast. The pool bar serves cocktails and light bites, and food and drinks can be brought to the room or to any corner of the garden. The restaurants and cafés of the surrounding quarter are a few steps from the door.
Swimming
The 35 m² pool sits at the heart of the hotel, surrounded by the botanical garden, and is kept low in chlorine. Around it are sun loungers, shaded beds and poolside service. The hotel has no beach of its own; the nearest beaches are 10–15 minutes away by car.
Rooms
46 rooms and suites in three collections — King Rooms, Junior Suites and Signature Suites — from 25 to 80 m², each individually styled, each with a king-size bed and designed for two adults.
Rooms have a king-size bed, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a smart TV, a coffee maker, an electronic safe and smart lighting, with laundry and room service on request.
King Room
A cosy room in green or blue with a vintage-style wardrobe and private bathroom, looking out over the pool, the town or the garden. King-size bed (twin set-up on request), up to 2 adults.

A slightly larger ground-floor room styled in pink or botanical green, with its own outdoor seating and a pool or garden view. King-size bed, up to 2 adults.

A first-floor room with a view over the bay, vintage-style furniture and an outdoor sitting area. King-size bed (twin set-up on request), up to 2 adults.
Superior King Room with Private Balcony
The largest of the King rooms, twice the size of the classic one, with an open layout, a generous bathroom and a private first-floor balcony over the lanes of the quarter. King-size bed, up to 2 adults.
Junior Suite
A ground-floor junior suite in pink or botanical green, with an indoor lounge corner of easy chairs and a coffee table, outdoor seating and a garden view. King-size bed, up to 2 adults.
Superior Junior Suite
A ground-floor junior suite in shades of blue, with carpeting, a raised bed and a sitting area with two armchairs; outside, a shaded seat under a parasol and a garden view. Up to 2 adults.
Superior Junior Suite with Private Balcony
A first-floor junior suite with a clearly separate living area and sofa, a raised bed and a private balcony overlooking the quarter. King-size bed, up to 2 adults.
Superior Junior Suite with Bathtub
A secluded junior suite with antique-style furnishings, a large lounge with sofa and armchairs and a freestanding bathtub in the bedroom itself; outside, a seat under a parasol and a garden view. King-size bed, up to 2 adults.
Theme Suite
A two-level first-floor suite, each one built around its own theme: a raised bed and sofa below, a timber staircase up to a private sitting area, plenty of daylight, a pool view and a large bathroom with a shower or a shower and bath. King-size bed, up to 2 adults.
Royal Desire Suite
The hotel's largest suite, dressed in blue, with a separate bedroom and living room, a private inner staircase, a wooden four-poster bed, a chandelier and two TVs. The bathroom has a round shower and a freestanding bath; windows look over the garden and pool, up to 2 adults.
