General information
Sun Gardens Dubrovnik is a beachfront resort in the village of Orašac, 11 km from Dubrovnik, spread across terraced Mediterranean gardens that look out to the Elafiti Islands. At its centre stands an old stone palazzo where, by tradition, the Florentine statesman Piero Soderini lived in exile after 1512. The present resort was rebuilt from 2008 and opened in 2009, bringing together a hotel, residences and a private villa.
It is a self-contained place, designed as much for families as for couples: three outdoor pools and a pebble beach, a spa, an extensive sports centre, the Marco Polo Kids Club, more than a dozen restaurants and bars, shops and a supermarket. A shuttle bus and boat connect it with the city. The resort is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World and holds Green Key certification.
Location
The resort sits directly on the sea in Orašac, 11 km from Dubrovnik's Old Town and 35 km from Dubrovnik Airport. Airport pick-ups are arranged on request, the city is reached by the resort's shuttle bus or boat, and guest parking includes EV charging points.
Spa
The Yes to Beauty spa has an indoor pool, saunas and a relaxation area. Treatments include Thai massage, signature rituals, facials and nail care, as well as the Pure Air Bubble concept for the skin; products are by Natura Bissé.
Sports & leisure
The sports centre offers a 24-hour gym (ages 16 and over), group classes, Reformer Pilates, personal training, a climbing wall, a glass-walled squash court, badminton, basketball, table tennis and billiards. Outdoors there are three clay tennis courts with coaching by Sunball Tennis, a five-a-side football pitch with a sea view, beach volleyball, bike rental with guided rides, hiking and cycling routes through the surrounding countryside and, in summer, jet skis.
For children
The Marco Polo Kids Club is organised by age: Baby Club (12 months–3 years), Mini Club (3–6), Junior Club (7–10) and Tween Club (11–15), plus a gaming room for over-11s. There are children's lunches, evening programmes in summer, a baby concierge, babysitting, a dedicated kids' pool at the Sunset Pool and a children's sports academy.

Swimming
NUKU Beach, a natural pebble beach a few steps from the rooms, has a bar and a private VIP area that can be reserved. The three outdoor pools each have their own mood: Lemonia Pool for families, Sunset Pool with water features and a kids' pool, and Marina Pool, set aside for couples.

Pets are not permitted in the accommodation or in public areas.
