About this hotel
General information
D-Resort Šibenik stands on the Mandalina peninsula within the D-Marin Mandalina superyacht marina, facing Šibenik’s old town. Architect Nikola Bašić shaped it to follow the curve of the peninsula: a winding building in white concrete inlaid with wooden planks, rooms with glass walls onto the Adriatic, and villas and a Yacht Club in raw concrete that seem to emerge from the rock, a nod to traditional Dalmatian building.
The line between inside and out is deliberately blurred — the landscape enters the rooms, and the interior timber continues outdoors. Rough concrete against pale wood, furniture that appears to float above the floor and a shared palette tie together seven differently shaped buildings. The resort has 63 rooms, 6 suites and 3 villas and holds the Green Key certificate. It operates seasonally; in winter only the villas are available.
Location
The resort sits in the D-Marin Mandalina marina in Šibenik, looking across to the old town, one of Croatia’s oldest. The Krka and Kornati national parks are about 30 minutes away, and the international airports of Split and Zadar less than an hour’s drive.
Spa
D | Spa offers tailored treatments with Bernard Cassière and Thalgo products: facials and body care, massages, rituals inspired by far-flung corners of the world, a hammam with a raw-silk glove scrub and foam of argan oil and damask rose, and treatments for expectant and new mothers, for men and for couples. There is a vitality pool and a sauna. The spa is for adults; guests under 16 may use only the outdoor areas.
Sports & leisure
The heated 220 m² infinity pool at the Yacht Club overlooks the marina, and a second pool sits by the sea next to the Peninsula Bar. D | Gym is fitted with Technogym equipment, with group sunset yoga three times a week and private sessions on request. There is a rooftop running track and table tennis. Water-sports and diving centres operate nearby, and motor yachts or sailing boats can be chartered in the marina to explore the Šibenik archipelago and the Kornati. The In-Formal boutique stocks Henry Lloyd and Aqua of Croatia.
For children
A dedicated children’s pool comes with swim vests and pool noodles, and cots can be placed in the rooms on request.

The kitchens cook international and Mediterranean dishes from local produce, and the bars host live-music evenings.
