General information
The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou sits at the centre of Zhujiang New Town, the business heart of Tianhe district, where towers, the opera house and the city’s museums line the Pearl River. Its interiors blend European classicism with Chinese motifs: arrival comes with a cup of tea in a Rococo-inspired lobby, and floor-to-ceiling windows frame the river, the Canton Tower or the city lights.
There are 350 rooms and suites, a club floor with its own lounge, five restaurants and bars led by the Cantonese Lai Heen, a spa spread over an entire floor and a heated outdoor pool. The Residences add 90 serviced apartments of one to four bedrooms. Events have more than 3,300 m² to work with, including a 1,209 m² ballroom without a single pillar.
Location
The address is 3 Xing An Road in Zhujiang New Town. The Guangzhou Opera House and the Guangdong Museum are within walking distance, Haixinsha Island is under 1 km away, the Canton Tower about 1 km, Shamian Island 9 km and Baiyun Mountain 10 km. Metro stations are close by, as are Guangzhou East and Guangzhou South railway stations. Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is about 45 km away; there is no shuttle, but the hotel arranges limousine transfers on request.
Spa
The Ritz-Carlton Spa occupies an entire floor of the hotel, more than 4,000 m², with eight treatment rooms, a steam room, a whirlpool and separate lounges for men and women. Its signature is a two-hour aromatherapy massage with warm stones that ends with acupressure; the menu also covers a men’s massage with heated stones, face and scalp work, a gentle massage for mothers-to-be after the first trimester, tailored facials, scrubs, wraps, treatments for couples, manicures, pedicures, hair care and make-up.
Sports & leisure
The fitness centre is open around the clock, with Technogym cardio and strength equipment, free weights and hour-long introductory and personal training sessions. Yoga classes run three times a week, and the bar keeps a snooker table. Haixinsha Island and the district’s modern shopping galleries are within walking distance, and the Pearl River night cruise is 4 km away.
For children
Ritz Kids starts before arrival with a call from guest relations to learn about the children; on site there is a dedicated check-in desk, a welcome folder, gifts in the room and children’s menus in the restaurants. On Saturdays and Sundays from 15:00 to 16:00 FOODS hosts “Fun with Leo” activities, and children aged 4 to 8 can have a “Night Safari”, with a camping tent pitched inside the suite.

Five restaurants and bars run from breakfast until late, and in-room dining is available 24 hours a day.

Swimming
The heated outdoor pool measures 25 × 10 m and is open daily from 6:00 to 22:00, with a lifeguard, towels, sun loungers and cabanas. The whirlpool is in the spa.

350 rooms and suites of 50 to 420 m² look over the city, the opera house, the Canton Tower and the Pearl River.
