Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong

About this hotel

General information

Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong occupies a 45-storey tower in the IFC complex in Central, on Hong Kong Island, directly above Victoria Harbour. Covered links run into IFC Mall and the railway station, so the business district, galleries and waterfront begin at the door. Interiors pair a contemporary restraint with details drawn from traditional Chinese architecture – wood- and silk-panelled walls, natural tones, modern art – while picture windows frame the harbour, Kowloon and Victoria Peak.

There are 399 rooms, 54 of them suites. The hotel is best known for its dining: the French Caprice, the Cantonese Lung King Heen, the Italian Noi and two Japanese counters all share one roof. The sixth floor holds two outdoor harbour-view pools and a spa with 17 treatment rooms, and the 45th floor the Executive Club lounge. Two harbour-view ballrooms host banquets and weddings.

Location

The address is 8 Finance Street in Central, at the heart of the financial district. The hotel connects directly to Hong Kong Station, where the Airport Express reaches Hong Kong International Airport (40 km) in 24 minutes; by car the drive takes about 45 minutes. On request, guests are met at the air bridge and escorted through immigration and baggage reclaim to a waiting limousine. Central MTR station is a five-minute walk, the Star Ferry pier four minutes on foot and Victoria Peak 14 minutes by car; valet parking is available.

Spa

The Spa, on the sixth floor, has 17 treatment rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows over Victoria Harbour and the skyline, plus private suites for couples. Its thermal area combines a soft sauna and a Finnish sauna, an amethyst-crystal steam room, cool-mist showers, ice fountains and indoor mosaic vitality pools. The signature ritual, created with Biologique Recherche, opens with a neck, shoulder and scalp massage and moves into a tailored facial. The menu also covers Ayurveda with Shirodhara, pre- and postnatal care, Ignae treatments, red-light therapy, meditation, singing-bowl and gong sound sessions, and a nail bar.

Sports & leisure

The fitness centre has cardio and weight equipment facing the harbour, with personal trainers on hand. Morning tai chi and qigong sessions with a resident master take place above the water, private yoga can be booked, and there is a dedicated lap pool. The concierge arranges city outings: a street-food walk through dim sum, egg waffles and wonton noodles, the cable car to the Big Buddha and a fishing village on Lantau Island, the art galleries of old Hong Kong, a feng shui introduction at local temples, and an evening harbour sail aboard a wooden junk.

For children

Young guests have their own programme of in-room activities, cultural workshops, cooking classes, arts and crafts, and seasonal events. A play tent can be set up in the room on request, and babysitting can be arranged. The outdoor pool has a shallow area for little ones.

Restaurants & bars

Restaurants, bars and a café under one roof, plus round-the-clock in-room dining.

  • Caprice – contemporary French cooking with global accents and an extensive wine list, in a chinoiserie-inspired room

Swimming

Two open-air pools on the sixth floor look over Victoria Harbour, open daily from 6 am to 9 pm. The main pool is a free-form infinity pool, heated year-round, with underwater music and a shallow area for children; beside it are a lap pool, a hot whirlpool and a cold plunge pool. The terrace has loungers and Wi-Fi.
