Emiliano São Paulo

About this hotel

General information

Emiliano São Paulo stands on Rua Oscar Freire in Jardins, among international fashion houses, galleries and restaurants, and is counted among the city’s finest addresses. Its pale-silver, 24-storey tower with full-height windows follows a crisp minimalist geometry, and its spaces bear the hand of architect Arthur Casas: plenty of wood and natural light, warm sand tones, and a play of glass, timber and metal.

Design pieces sit alongside art throughout, with the Brazilian artist Siron Franco’s large Cocoon sculpture in the lobby. A team of butlers looks after guests, and the hotel has the Cena restaurant, the Lobby Bar, Santapele Spa, a 24-hour business centre, three event rooms and a helipad reserved for guests. A sister hotel, Emiliano Rio, stands on Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro.

Location

The hotel sits on Rua Oscar Freire in the heart of Jardins, about 2 km from São Paulo’s two main business axes, Avenida Paulista and Avenida Faria Lima. Guarulhos International Airport is roughly an hour’s drive and Congonhas Airport 30 minutes; the helipad operates for guests from 8 am to 8 pm.

Spa

Santapele Spa is an urban retreat built around the hotel’s own Santapele cosmetics line. Treatments follow three themes, detox, relaxation and energy, and include shiatsu, lymphatic drainage, reflexology, aromatic massages, scrubs and facials, alongside yoga and breathing sessions. There is a sauna and an open-air deck with two Japanese ofurô tubs, a living green wall and loungers.

Sports & leisure

The hotel has a fitness area with its own training menu, and the spa runs yoga classes. Rua Oscar Freire and the surrounding Jardins streets put boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and cafés within walking distance. For business and private events there are three rooms: the main Emiliano room of 125 m² with a 6-metre ceiling, plus the Mezanino and Apresentação rooms, all with audiovisual equipment and catering from the restaurant.

For children

Babysitting can be arranged on request.

Restaurants & bars

Cena, designed by Arthur Casas with an open kitchen set into the dining room, is one of São Paulo’s newer culinary destinations: chef Vinícius Pires cooks contemporary Brazilian food focused on outstanding produce, precise technique and clean flavours, while Luís Otávio Álvares Cruz curates the drinks. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Lobby Bar, with its suspended orchid garden and golden rope chairs by the Campana brothers, is a polished yet easy-going spot for a cocktail.
