General information
Suites Camino Real is an all-suite hotel in Calacoto, the business and residential quarter of La Paz’s Zona Sur. Its 70 suites are generously sized and furnished in a calm, contemporary style, each with separate space to work and to unwind, which suits business travellers, groups and families staying in the city for more than a night or two.
Much of what a longer stay needs is in the building: La Tranquera, a grill restaurant with Bolivian and international dishes; the Novo Café Lounge for cocktails; and the Feelings Spa, with a heated indoor pool, saunas and five treatment rooms. Four function rooms with a combined 341 m² — the largest holding up to 120 guests — serve conferences, receptions and private dinners, with the hotel’s own team handling décor, audiovisual set-up and catering.
Location
The hotel stands on one of Calacoto’s main avenues, at the corner of Calle 10, in the Zona Sur — an upmarket business district of La Paz with plenty of restaurants and evening life. A Mi Teleférico cable car station is within walking distance, connecting the neighbourhood with the rest of La Paz and with El Alto, and the front desk helps with transport around the city and beyond.
Spa
The Feelings Spa draws its theme from the elements — water, fire, air, nature and earth — and is staffed by a certified team working with modern equipment and quality products. Facilities include a heated indoor pool, a whirlpool, a dry sauna and steam rooms, separate men’s and women’s changing rooms with showers, and five private rooms for body and beauty treatments, booked on request. The spa is open Tuesday to Sunday, 07:00–22:00.
Sports & leisure
The health club has a gym with modern cardio equipment, while the heated indoor pool and whirlpool sit within the spa; all are open Tuesday to Sunday, 07:00–22:00. The front desk helps plan days in and around La Paz and arranges tours and transport — to the eroded clay formations of the Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley), the city’s museums and viewpoints, the snow-capped peak of Huayna Potosí and the archaeological site of Tiwanaku, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Restaurants & bars
La Tranquera, the main restaurant, is built around meat from the grill, alongside a selection of Bolivian and international dishes; it is open daily from 07:00 to 23:00, from breakfast through dinner, and from time to time welcomes guest chefs from abroad for themed evenings of regional cuisine. The Novo Café Lounge, open daily from 10:30 to midnight, is a relaxed bar for signature cocktails made with Bolivian spirits and ingredients, the classics, and snacks with Bolivian and international flavours. A broad wine list accompanies meals, and room service brings dishes from La Tranquera to the suites.
Swimming
A heated indoor pool and a whirlpool are part of the Feelings Spa, open Tuesday to Sunday, 07:00–22:00.

Pets are not allowed.
Rooms
All 70 rooms are suites in a modern, contemporary style, with space for both work and rest; they have either one king-size bed or two queen-size beds, and the Family Suite adds a second bedroom and a kitchenette.
Every suite has a work and seating area, a 50-inch TV with cable channels, a minibar, high-speed Wi-Fi, heating and air conditioning, a telephone with multilingual voicemail, a pillow menu, a digital safe, and thermally insulated, soundproofed windows and doors.
Single Suite
A suite with a king-size bed, a work desk and a seating area; for up to two guests.
Double Suite
A suite with two queen-size beds, well suited to group or family trips; for up to four guests.
Family Suite
A two-bedroom apartment — one bedroom with a king-size bed, the other with two queen-size beds — with two separate bathrooms, a living room, a dining area and an equipped kitchenette; a TV in each bedroom, for up to four guests.
Royal Suite
A top-floor suite with a king-size bed, generous space to work and relax, and a bathroom with a hydromassage bathtub; for up to two guests.
