General information
Marriott Santa Cruz de la Sierra Hotel is a contemporary city hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, set up as much for business trips as for leisure stays. Rooms and suites are finished in calm earth tones, and floor-to-ceiling windows frame views over the city. A lobby with a library welcomes arrivals, the restaurant opens onto an outdoor patio, and the Executive Lounge on the 18th floor serves guests in the Executive categories.
For conferences and celebrations there are two event rooms totalling 715 m², the larger, Río Grande, seating up to 440 theatre-style or 340 for a banquet, with Mamoré as the second. Weddings can also be held on an outdoor terrace overlooking the city. Through the year the hotel runs its own calendar of theme nights and culinary events.
Location
The hotel stands on Santa Cruz de la Sierra’s fourth ring road, close to the Ventura Mall and the non-profit Manzana Uno Espacio de Arte gallery. Viru Viru International Airport is about 14 km away; the hotel runs no shuttle, and parking on site is free for guests arriving by car. Beyond the city lie the Lomas de Arena sand dunes, the botanical garden and Amboró National Park.
Spa
Hotel Spa is the hotel’s day spa, open by appointment. It has its own reception, a single treatment room and a couples’ room, with a menu of massages and facials.
Sports & leisure
The complimentary fitness centre has cardio machines, treadmills and exercise bikes, strength machines and free weights. For downtime there is an outdoor pool with an open-air whirlpool and the spa, and the hotel’s calendar adds theme nights and culinary events. Golfers have Urubo Golf, an 18-hole course about 2 km away, and Mapaizo Golf Club about 18 km away.
Restaurants & bars
Toborochi serves international cooking — steaks, seafood, desserts and handcrafted drinks — in its dining room and on an outdoor patio; it is open daily from 6:30 to midnight and also hosts the buffet breakfast. Blue Macaw Bar is a Japanese bar pouring cocktails alongside sushi rolls, open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to midnight. A full American breakfast is included for hotel guests, and room service is available.
Swimming
The outdoor pool sits on the hotel grounds, with an open-air whirlpool alongside; towels are provided.
Pets
Pets are welcome; service animals stay without a fee or documentation.

Rooms and suites are styled in earth tones with full-height windows looking over the city. The range runs from Classic rooms to high-floor Deluxe rooms and Executive rooms with Executive Lounge access, up to suites and a two-bedroom Family Suite; some rooms come with park views or as corner rooms.
Every room has air-conditioning, a sitting area with a sofa, a work desk, a flat-screen TV with international channels, a coffee and tea maker, a safe, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, Wi-Fi and room service; all rooms are non-smoking.
