About this hotel
General information
The St. Regis Bermuda Resort sits right on the water by St Catherine's Beach, at the eastern tip of Bermuda and a short way from the old town of St. George's, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its architecture takes its cue from traditional Bermudian houses, while the interiors pair island references with the polish St. Regis is known for: ocean-toned palettes, natural textures and generous balconies turned towards the sea.
There are 102 rooms, 11 of them suites, and every guest is looked after by the signature St. Regis Butler Service, which starts helping before arrival and takes care of the details throughout the stay. Each evening the terrace of The Great Hall hosts a champagne ritual with a sabre-opened bottle, and the bar serves the brand's traditional afternoon tea. Guests play the 18-hole Five Forts Golf Club along the coast and divide their time between an adults-only pool and a family pool. The resort holds Green Key certification.
Location
The resort stands in St. George's Parish at the east end of the island chain, steps from St Catherine's Beach and close to the lanes of old St. George's. Bermuda's international airport is about 6.8 km away; the resort does not run its own airport shuttle. The flight from the US East Coast takes around 90 minutes.
Spa
The St. Regis Spa offers massages, including treatments for couples, facials built on botanical ingredients, services for men and a choice of enhancements to extend any treatment. Before or after a session guests can use the steam room and an open-air plunge pool, and there are separate lounges for men and women. Private one-to-one yoga is held overlooking the ocean and the pink sand. Treatments are by appointment, and the spa has its own boutique.
Sports & leisure
- Five Forts Golf Club — an 18-hole, par-62 course running along the coast from Fort Victoria to Fort St. Catherine, with ocean views from almost every hole; GPS-equipped carts, a driving range, a putting green, equipment rental, lessons with the Golfzon Leadbetter Academy and a pro shop open from March to November
- Complimentary fitness centre with cardio and strength machines and free weights, plus a sauna and steam room
- Private beach cabanas with direct access to the sand and open ocean views
- Walks through old St. George's, shops and restaurants on Front Street in Hamilton, the Royal Naval Dockyard with the National Museum of Bermuda, Crystal Caves and Cooper's Island Nature Reserve
For children
The St. Regis Family Traditions programme gives children their own activities and small welcome touches. The resort also has a Kids Club, a dedicated space for play and creative pursuits; it is unstaffed, so children use it under their parents' supervision. Families have a pool of their own as well.
Restaurants & bars
Lina serves breakfast and lunch built on local produce with a Latin accent, in a room inspired by the spirit of classic yacht clubs. The St. Regis Bar is the setting for afternoon tea, champagne and crafted cocktails, among them the signature Gates Bay Mary made with native fennel and Bermudian rum, alongside sushi, sharing plates and more refined dishes. In-room dining runs around the clock.
Swimming
The turquoise water of St Catherine's Beach begins a few steps from the resort, where private cabanas line the sand. On site there is an adults-only pool with a whirlpool, a sundeck and poolside cabanas, plus a family pool open to guests of all ages.
Pets
Dogs and cats up to 20 kg are welcome, one per room, for a per-stay fee. Service animals are accepted free of charge and without documentation.

The 102 rooms, including 11 suites, all have private balconies and are laid out to draw the eye straight to the ocean; others look over the golf course or the gardens. Calm colours and natural textures echo the island's landscape.
