General information
The Loren sits on Bermuda's South Shore, directly above the pink sand of Pink Beach in Tucker's Town. It is a contemporary resort whose architecture takes its cue from local building traditions and stays quiet in the landscape: floor-to-ceiling glass and generous terraces and balconies turned towards the Atlantic. Interiors keep to a calm palette of natural wood and soft greys, and the lobby is anchored by a floating spiral staircase in glass.
The hotel keeps its own collection of contemporary art, with work by more than twenty artists from the US, the UK, Germany, Cuba and Brazil, much of it commissioned for the property; the public spaces and gallery host changing exhibitions, and the library holds some three thousand new and vintage books. Guests stay in generous suites and in villas with private pools, while daily life gathers around two heated pools above the ocean, The Pink Beach Club restaurant and the Sisley spa. The Guest Experience team arranges private dining, yacht charters, golf and island outings.
Location
The resort lies on South Road in Tucker's Town, Smith's Parish, on Bermuda's South Shore, directly above Pink Beach. Bermuda's international airport is about a 20-minute drive away and Hamilton roughly 15 minutes. Private airport transfers can be booked with the Guest Experience team before arrival, and car and electric-vehicle rentals or taxis can be arranged on request.
Spa
The Sisley Spa works with the French house Sisley, known for its essential oils and plant extracts, offering the brand's phyto-aromatic treatments alongside massages, facials, body care and wellness therapies. There are four treatment rooms, one of them for couples, two manicure and pedicure stations, a three-chair hair salon, separate men's and women's changing rooms with steam rooms, and a relaxation lounge looking out to sea.
Sports & leisure
The 24-hour fitness centre has Life Fitness cardio equipment, including treadmills, a recumbent bike, an elliptical trainer and spinning bikes, plus a free-weights area with a cable machine. Salt Yoga Bermuda is based at the resort, with open-level vinyasa classes on four mornings a week and private sessions tailored to the guest, from hatha and restorative to yin, prenatal yoga and meditation. Kayaks and stand-up paddle boards are available at the beach, and the reef just offshore makes for easy snorkelling. A weekly programme brings cooking demonstrations, full-moon barbecues and wine tastings, and the Guest Experience team books golf tee times and arranges sailing, yacht charters, island tours and cultural excursions.
For children
A kids' club offers toys and craft activities, and one of the resort's two pools is a shallow pool for toddlers.
Restaurants & bars
Cooking here relies on the catch of local fishermen and produce from small island farms. The Pink Beach Club is an open-air restaurant and club by the pool, facing the Atlantic, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner — coastal cooking from local produce, with lighter spa-menu dishes — with brunch on Sundays and a series of visiting chefs in summer. Marée Lounge has the feel of a private members' club: a quiet room for billiards and board games by day, and in the evening a setting for cocktails from the Marée bar and small plates. The hotel's own Barrel Reserve rum, rested in Bermuda and finished in former bourbon barrels, goes into its signature cocktail, The Tempest, and cabana attendants look after guests around the pool.
Swimming
Directly below the pool terrace lies Pink Beach, with soft rose-coloured sand and calm, clear water sheltered by a reef where parrotfish feed. Beach loungers and umbrellas are provided. Above it are two heated infinity-edge pools, one of them for toddlers, surrounded by loungers and four ocean-view cabanas whose attendants bring drinks and light bites. The villas have their own heated pools.
Rooms
Suites occupy the main buildings above the beach, from king-bed suites to a three-bedroom penthouse, while the villas offer more privacy, several with private pools. All have a private terrace or balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows, and every room has a large photographic diptych of the Pink Beach coastline.
Rooms have complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, a marble bathroom with double vanity, tub and walk-in rain shower, SFERRA linens and towels, bathrobes and slippers, Malin+Goetz toiletries, a minibar, a Nespresso machine and tea, a flat-screen TV, a Bluetooth speaker dock, a desk, a safe, an iron and a hairdryer.
King Terrace
A ground-floor suite with a king bed and a private terrace looking over the garden to the ocean. The marble bathroom has a tub and walk-in rain shower, and the seating area takes a rollaway bed for a third guest.
King Balcony
An upper-floor suite with a king bed and a private balcony facing straight out over the Atlantic. The marble bathroom has double vanities and a tub, and a rollaway bed for a third guest fits in the seating area.
Two-Bedroom Terrace
A two-bedroom suite (one king, one with two queens) on the ground floor, with an extended terrace taking in the garden and the ocean. Two marble bathrooms, a spacious living area with minibar, extra fridge and wine cooler, and a powder room; sleeps up to six.
Two-Bedroom Balcony
A two-bedroom suite (one king, one with two queens) on an upper floor, with a long balcony and a panorama of the Atlantic. Two marble bathrooms, a deep soaking tub in the main one, and a living area with minibar, wine cooler and powder room; sleeps up to six.
Oceanfront Three-Bedroom Penthouse
A top-floor penthouse reached by its own lift, set on a cliff overlooking Pink Beach, with a 180-degree ocean view and a sprawling rooftop terrace onto which two bedrooms open. Three bedrooms (two kings, one with two queens), a kitchen with island, a living room with fireplace, laundry, a powder room and a private parking space at the door.
Three-Bedroom Terrace
A three-bedroom suite (two kings and two queens) with two private ground-floor terraces looking over the garden and ocean from the hotel's highest point. Three en-suite bathrooms and a living area with minibar, wine cooler and powder room.

Grape Bay One-Bed Garden View Villa
A two-storey garden-view villa, private yet with easy access to the resort, with a heated pool, barbecue and open-air dining, a kitchen and a living room opening onto a balcony. A king bedroom with soaking tub and walk-in closet, plus a poolside lounge room with its own bathroom and drinks station.
Three-Bed Villa with Private Pool
A two-level villa with ocean views and its own heated pool, made for families or friends travelling together, sleeping up to six. Three king bedrooms, each with a marble bathroom, a walk-in closet in the main bedroom upstairs, and a large open-plan kitchen and living room.
Grape Bay 3.5 Bed Garden Villa
A villa looking over a mangrove bay, built around a private heated pool, with a terrace, barbecue and a lounge room that can double as an extra half bedroom. Three king bedrooms with marble bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, an upper-level living room with balcony, laundry and a Sonos sound system; sleeps up to eight.
