About this hotel
General information
The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas occupies the north shore of Paradise Island, its low-rise buildings set within some 35 acres of terraced Versailles Gardens. Stone paths climb past bougainvillea, koi ponds, statues of Cupid and Psyche and the arches of a 12th-century Augustinian cloister, while the lower lawns open onto the sea and a white-sand beach.
There are 107 places to stay: rooms and suites in two wings, plunge-pool bungalows and villa residences right on the sand. Interiors pair traditional Bahamian elegance with a light palette of sand and water. Three pools, a spa of Balinese-style villas, tennis and padel courts, the Ocean Club Golf Course and DUNE by Jean-Georges, perched on the dune above the Atlantic, complete the picture.
Location
The resort sits at One Ocean Drive on the north shore of Paradise Island, which is linked by two bridges to New Providence and the capital, Nassau. Lynden Pindling International Airport is 19 km away, roughly 40 minutes by road; the concierge can arrange a transfer with the resort’s private chauffeur.
Spa
The Spa is tucked into the Versailles Gardens: eight Balinese-style treatment villas, each with its own garden and outdoor bath. More than 30 treatments are offered, from massages and ELEMIS therapies to BIOTEC microcurrent facials, body rituals, couples’ and pregnancy treatments and a men’s menu. Signatures include the Bahamas Rhythm Massage, using percussive instruments, and a massage with warm coconut poultices and monoi oil. Villa residence guests can have treatments in their own villa.

Families also have the lagoon-style pool with its beach entry and waterfall, a daily gelato cart, and cribs, baby baths, bottle warmers and high chairs; lunch at the club is charged.

The bungalows have courtyard plunge pools and the villa residences private infinity pools.
