General information
SLS Baha Mar sits on Cable Beach, on the north shore of New Providence, as part of the Baha Mar resort. It is a lively, sociable hotel: a lobby that hums from morning to night, shaded beach cabanas and gardens where flamingos wander freely. Its 299 rooms and suites blend modern baroque with Caribbean touches — Bahamian-style wooden shutters, furniture by local designers and walls sketched with ornate architectural drawings.
Food is what the hotel is best known for, from the Carna steakhouse, Mediterranean Cleo and Japanese Katsuya to Skybar on the roof, looking out over the ocean. Most rooms have a balcony and the suites and residences add a kitchen or kitchenette, which suits couples and families alike. The hotel is working to remove single-use plastics and cut food waste, and seven rooms are available for meetings and celebrations.
Location
The hotel stands at 1 Baha Mar Blvd in Nassau, directly on Cable Beach, one of the finest beaches in The Bahamas, with white sand and calm turquoise water. Within Baha Mar itself lie an 18-hole golf course, a tennis centre, the ESPA spa and the Baha Bay beachfront water park.
Spa
Guests of SLS Baha Mar use ESPA Baha Mar, the brand's first flagship spa in the Caribbean. Some 2,800 m² hold 22 treatment rooms offering massages, facials, body treatments, manicures and pedicures for women and men, using ESPA's own natural products. Non-invasive aesthetic treatments are offered separately, and a boutique sells the spa's products alongside handmade pieces.

For children
Baha Mar's Explorers Kids Club welcomes children aged 3–12 for straw weaving, sea-glass and shell art, woodworking, pottery and photography, as well as film nights, glow-in-the-dark parties and big-screen video games. The youngest have a soft-play room, and there is an outdoor playground, Sandy Cay. Vetted babysitters trained in first aid can be arranged, and the Baha Bay water park has dedicated children's areas with small slides and shallow pools.

Dining at SLS Baha Mar ranges from steaks to Japanese, with breakfast and the full menu also served in the rooms.

Swimming
The hotel sits right on Cable Beach, with white sand and turquoise water; the Baha Bay Beach Club on the shore has loungers, cabanas and the 25° North restaurant. The temperature-controlled pool by the Bungalow Pool Bar & Grill is lined with palms, loungers, umbrellas and striped cabanas for four or eight guests.
Pets
Dogs are welcome: up to two per room, one weighing no more than 23 kg or two up to 34 kg combined, and they must be house-trained. The hotel asks to be told at least three days before arrival, and a one-time cleaning fee applies. Dogs are walked only in designated relief areas and are not allowed in the restaurants, bars, pools, fitness facilities or on the golf course.

The hotel has 299 rooms and suites, along with one-, two- and three-bedroom residences looking over the ocean or the resort. Interiors pair modern baroque with Caribbean touches: Bahamian-style shutters, locally designed furniture and signature SLS beds.
