General information
Coral Sands Inn & Cottages is a small beach hotel on Harbour Island in the Bahamas, set on the slope above the pink sand of Pink Sands Beach. The mood is easy and unhurried: garden paths wind through tropical planting down to the sand, pink cushioned loungers and pink-and-white striped cabanas line the pool, and the interiors are bright, with turquoise tiling, pink clawfoot tubs and shell-framed mirrors.
Guests stay in four parts of the property: The Inn, the main building with rooms and suites; Briland House, which holds suites only; standalone cottages set in the garden or right above the shore; and two large King's Beach Homes with their own pools. The hotel is known for pairing an intimate scale with a full set of amenities, from an Italian-Bahamian restaurant to sports courts and an open-air gym.
Location
The hotel stands in Dunmore Town on Harbour Island, about 80 km east of Nassau. The nearest airport is North Eleuthera, served by daily flights from Nassau and by direct flights from Miami and Atlanta. From there it is a five-minute taxi to the dock, a five-minute water taxi across the channel to Harbour Island and another five minutes by road to the hotel.
Sports & leisure
The grounds have a tennis court, a basketball court, two pickleball courts and a padel court, along with a nine-hole outdoor putting green and a golf simulator. The open-air gym is equipped with Peloton bikes, treadmills, free weights and strength machines, with a sauna and a cold plunge alongside. A weekly timetable covers yoga, Pilates, stretching, Zumba, aqua fit and beach boot camp. The hotel team helps plan outings around the island and trips out on the water, and the hotel boutique stocks island-style clothing, accessories and gifts.
Restaurants & bars
The restaurant and bars run from breakfast until late in the evening; meals can also be ordered to the room, and private dinners are arranged on request.

Swimming
The freshwater infinity pool is ringed by pink cushioned loungers and private cabanas, with drinks and snacks served there throughout the day. Pink Sands Beach runs for nearly 5 km; loungers and umbrellas are set out on the sand for guests, and the water close to shore is calm and shallow, good for swimming and for snorkelling just off the beach.
Rooms
Rooms, suites, cottages and homes are spread through the garden above the beach, from garden-view rooms in The Inn to cottages on the shoreline and two homes for up to ten guests with private pools.
Each room has a king bed dressed in Matouk linens, Ortigia Sicilia bath products, robes and slippers, air conditioning, a safe, complimentary coffee, tea and bottled water, twice-daily housekeeping with evening turndown and in-room dining.
