General information
JW Marriott Absheron Baku is a city-centre hotel facing Azadlig Square, a short walk from the seafront. It is built around the idea of calm and attentiveness: an unhurried pace, natural materials and views of the Caspian Sea or the city from almost every window. Amid the city blocks it keeps its own JW Garden, planted with lavender and jasmine and beds of mint, chilli and basil, with a quiet lounge corner and swings.
In the lobby, the Badikube nook takes its cue from Baku’s wind and holds a library of books on Azerbaijan’s culture, nature and contemporary poetry. Every day at 16:00 The Tea Lounge hosts a lemonade-making session with herbs and fruit from the garden. For meetings and celebrations there are 14 daylit rooms on the third and fourth floors and the Sharq Zali ballroom: 1,200 m² for up to 700 guests, with floor-to-ceiling windows over the sea and the skyline.
Location
The hotel stands on Azadlig Square in the city’s business district, steps from the seafront boulevard, which gives some of the best views of the Flame Towers. Fountain Square and the Old City, Icherisheher, with the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, are within walking distance. Baku’s international airport is about 23 km away; there is no hotel shuttle, but a private car, limousine or van can be arranged on request.
Spa
Absheron Spa occupies the 21st floor, with views over the city and the Caspian Sea. It has five treatment rooms, one of them for couples, a steam room and a Finnish sauna. The menu covers massages, facials, signature rituals using local natural ingredients and treatments for mothers-to-be, and guests are welcome to relax there without booking a treatment.
Sports & leisure
A heated indoor pool with a whirlpool sits on the top floor, wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows. The fitness centre on the 23rd floor has panoramic views and is free for guests, with treadmills, ellipticals and exercise bikes, stair climbers, weight machines and free weights. The concierge team arranges walks through the Old City, a guided trip to the Ateshgah temple, and suggestions for museums, theatres and food events around town.
For children
Under the Family by JW programme, young guests are welcomed with puzzles, games and books, and the JW Garden hosts Secret Garden, a riddle-and-treasure hunt that introduces children to the plants growing there.
Restaurants & bars
The hotel has four restaurants and bars, and some of the herbs and seasonal produce come straight from the JW Garden.

Savor by JW provides 24-hour in-room dining with a focus on healthy dishes, and guests in Executive categories have the Executive Lounge on the fifth floor, with breakfast, all-day snacks and evening cocktails.
Pets
Pets are welcome: up to two per room, each weighing up to 10 kg. Service animals are also welcome.

Rooms and suites look out over the Caspian Sea or the city, with two-bedroom family rooms and connecting rooms for families. Executive categories and suites include Executive Lounge access and private check-in and check-out.

A suite with a balcony and a Caspian Sea panorama: a grand living room, a private dining room, a king-bedded bedroom, a whirlpool bath and a complimentary minibar; two adjoining Deluxe rooms can be added for accompanying staff.
