General information
InterContinental Baku sits in the very heart of the Azerbaijani capital, a short walk from the walled Old City of Icherisheher and the seafront boulevard. By the standards of an international brand it is an intimate house: seven floors and 122 rooms and suites, finished in a quietly elegant style. Windows look over the city, while some rooms and the club lounge face Baku Bay and the Caspian Sea; after dark the illuminated Flame Towers fill the view.
At its core is the Seven Beauties Spa, all marble, soft lighting and eastern touches, with an indoor pool, hammam and sauna. Khamsa restaurant pairs Azerbaijani and international cooking with a list of more than 50 wines, guests in club categories have the bay-view Club InterContinental lounge, and in-room dining runs around the clock.
Location
The hotel stands in central Baku, steps from Icherisheher, the walled Old City on the UNESCO World Heritage List, home to the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs. The seafront boulevard with its boutiques and Fountain Square are close by, the Park Boulevard shopping centre is five minutes away on foot, and the nearest metro station is Sahil. The hotel does not run its own shuttle from Baku's international airport.
Spa
The Seven Beauties Spa takes a holistic approach to wellbeing: marble interiors and gentle lighting, signature treatments from its own menu, a Turkish hammam, a sauna and a heated indoor pool.
Sports & leisure
The gym is open from 7:00 to 22:30, with treadmills, elliptical trainers, exercise bikes, a stair stepper and free weights, plus an on-site trainer. Swimming is in the indoor pool of the Seven Beauties Spa. Golf can be played away from the hotel at Dreamland Golf Club, and the concierge team helps plan time in the city.
Restaurants & bars
Khamsa, on the ground floor, brings together international and traditional Azerbaijani cooking with a Mediterranean leaning and a focus on local produce; more than 50 wines from local and well-known international estates accompany the menu, and a private dining room hosts banquets and family celebrations. Breakfast is served daily and dinner from 18:00 to 23:00. Guests in club categories have Club Iskandar-nameh, the Club InterContinental lounge, which looks over Baku Bay and the Caspian Sea and is open from 7:00 to 20:00. In-room dining is available 24 hours a day.
Swimming
The heated indoor pool at the Seven Beauties Spa is open from 7:00 to 22:30; towels and slippers are provided, and food and drinks can be ordered to the poolside.
Pets
Pets are not permitted; only service animals are allowed.

The hotel has 122 rooms and suites over seven floors: 33 m² Classic rooms, roomier 42 m² Premium rooms, club categories with Club InterContinental lounge access, and suites up to the 333 m² Presidential Suite.
