General information
Wellness-Residenz Schalber is set among the sunlit Alpine meadows and slopes of Serfaus. It brings together the traditions of a family-run house, Tyrolean warmth and contemporary hotel standards; rooms are furnished in Alpine style, with wood finishes, comfortable furniture and fitted carpets.
The pride of the house is a wellness centre designed for year-round use: an indoor pool, an outdoor seawater pool, saunas, steam rooms, herbal baths, a Feng Shui meditation area and a sun terrace. The restaurant cooks local and international dishes with produce from nearby farms, and the bar pours wines from the hotel’s own cellar. Children from 3 have a mini club, honeymooners have dedicated programmes, and there is a gift shop and parking.
Location
In the ski resort of Serfaus, western Austria, 100 km from Innsbruck airport and 27 km from Landeck railway station.
Spa
The wellness centre has an indoor pool, an outdoor seawater pool, whirlpool, saunas, steam rooms, herbal baths, gym, relaxation room, a Feng Shui meditation area and a sun terrace. Treatments include massage, therapeutic baths, wraps, peels, face and body care, manicure, pedicure and hairdressing.
Sports & leisure
The setting gives access to a wide range of winter and summer sports. A tennis club and a squash court are close to the hotel.
For children
A mini club for children aged 3 and over runs sports and entertainment programmes; there is a playroom, and the restaurant has a children’s menu.
Restaurants & bars
The restaurant prepares local and international dishes from organic produce sourced from neighbouring farms, with tables set on the sunny terrace in fine weather. The bar serves wines from the hotel’s own cellar alongside a broad choice of other drinks.
