General information
Rosewood Schloss Fuschl is a mid-15th-century castle on the shore of the clear, blue Fuschlsee, framed by the forests of the Salzkammergut. Centuries of history meet contemporary service: rooms in the castle itself and in the Waldhaus, chalets at the water’s edge, restaurants and bars, the Asaya Spa and both indoor and outdoor pools.
Days on the lake fill easily with hiking, cycling, boating and fishing, a lakeside club with sun terrace, and a golf course nearby. The hotel has rooms for meetings and celebrations, business services, a private jetty, parking, concierge, butler service and laundry, and it hosts weddings. Pets are welcome.
Location
The hotel lies on the Fuschlsee in the Salzkammergut, 19 km from the historic centre of Salzburg, 27 km from its railway station and 33 km from Salzburg W. A. Mozart Airport. Munich International Airport is 206 km away and Vienna International Airport 313 km.
Spa
Asaya Spa has indoor and outdoor panoramic pools, a relaxation area and eight treatment rooms offering a broad menu of face and body treatments.
Sports & leisure
There is a fitness centre with modern equipment, an indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool overlooking the lake. The hotel arranges cycling and hiking, lake outings, fishing, sports and entertainment programmes and excursions, and hires out bicycles and boats. A golf course lies close by.
