About this hotel
General information
Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol stands on the sunny Seefeld plateau at 1,300 metres, surrounded by classic Tyrolean scenery. Open since 1985 and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World and Leading Spas of the World, it has collected numerous industry awards. Spacious rooms with balconies look out to the Alps, and the 5,000 m² spa is the largest in the region.
The rest of the hotel matches that scale: accomplished restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts and an indoor practice hall, a kids’ club, a library and a winter garden. Ten function rooms for 12–400 guests and a business centre handle meetings and banquets, and weddings and honeymoon programmes are arranged in-house. Services include a limousine, car hire, an underground garage and a concierge.
Location
The hotel lies in Tyrol on the Seefeld plateau, 1,300 metres above sea level. The railway stations of Seefeld, Telfs and Innsbruck are about a 30-minute drive away; Innsbruck International Airport is 33 km and Munich Airport 169 km.
Spa
Spread over 5,000 m², the spa has a heated outdoor panoramic pool with a Jacuzzi, an indoor pool and a “sauna village” with Finnish and alpine saunas, a salt grotto, hammam, caldarium and Kneipp baths, as well as a beauty salon, a fitness centre with a yoga and Pilates studio, and indoor and outdoor relaxation areas. Treatment rooms offer massages, reflexology and face and body care using natural alpine products and Sisley, Dermalogica, La Ric and Vinoble. There are dedicated treatments for men and for children.
Sports & leisure
A heated outdoor panoramic pool with a Jacuzzi and sun terrace is paired with a 50-metre indoor pool. Tennis players have three outdoor and two indoor courts plus a 300 m² indoor practice hall, and both tennis and ski equipment can be hired. Winter means alpine and cross-country skiing and snowboarding; in summer guests go mountain biking, hiking, climbing, rafting, riding, Nordic walking, hunting and fishing. Seven golf courses lie nearby, including the 18-hole Seefeld-Wildmoos. Yoga, aerobics, sports and entertainment programmes and excursions complete the offer.
For children
The Tipsi-Club welcomes children from the age of 3 with games and sports programmes, and there is a playroom and a playground. Babysitting is available on request.
