General information
Almhof Schneider occupies a quiet, scenic spot at the foot of the Schlegelkopf, a short distance from the centre of Lech. The Schneider family opened it in 1929, and it has kept its family tradition of hospitality ever since. Interiors pair Alpine character with understated elegance: walls panelled in Alpine spruce, solid oak floors, bathrooms in rare Salzburg limestone, and antique furniture and paintings in soft light; some rooms have open fireplaces.
The hotel has a wellness centre with an indoor pool, saunas and steam room, a restaurant serving Austrian cuisine with wines from its own cellar, and The Klausur, an American bar. There is a conference room for 35 and a playroom for children.
Location
The hotel is in north-western Austria, in the ski resort of Lech, at the foot of the Schlegelkopf and close to the village centre. Innsbruck airport is 100 km away.
