About this hotel
General information
Park Hyatt Sydney sits at the very edge of Sydney Harbour in The Rocks, the historic quarter between the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, which fills the view from the balconies. Its 155 rooms and suites have contemporary interiors and floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto private balconies. Rooms, corridors and public spaces double as a gallery of Australian art, paying tribute to the harbour city and to Aboriginal history.
On the roof, a pool and terrace look over the harbour year-round, and the gym faces Dawes Point Reserve. The Spa has five treatment rooms, two steam rooms and a relaxation zone. The Dining Room cooks with seasonal Australian produce, The Living Room offers relaxed lunches and dinners by the water, and The Bar pours wines and cocktails built on native botanicals. Five function rooms, among them the Guest House with Opera House views and the Gallery, host meetings and weddings.
Location
On the shore of Sydney Harbour in The Rocks, next to the Harbour Bridge, with the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Royal Botanic Garden within a 15-minute walk. Sydney Airport is 11.5 km away and Central Station 4 km.
Spa
The Spa has five suite-style treatment rooms, two steam rooms and an intimate relaxation zone. The menu includes a signature hot stone massage, deep-tissue work with organic eucalyptus and arnica oils, La Mer facials and treatments by iKOU, an Australian brand using ingredients from the Blue Mountains.
Sports & leisure
The rooftop pool is open year-round with harbour views; it is heated in autumn and winter, and children under 12 swim only with an adult. The gym, with cardio and weight-training equipment, overlooks Dawes Point Reserve and the harbour.
